Anna-Kaisa Mäenpää

I am an associate in our Finance & Financial Regulation group in Helsinki where I advise clients on matters relating to domestic and international banking and finance transactions as well as corporate law.

Prior to joining Bird & Bird in November 2021 I worked in Scotland as a Senior Legal Analyst in another international law firm where I dealt with a variety of matters ranging from financial regulatory work to dispute resolution. In addition to this, I have also worked as a trainee in another leading law firm.

I have a LL.M. degree in International Commercial Law from the University of Glasgow and my expertise is especially related to corporate law, M&A transactions and financial regulation.

Having studied and worked abroad for over seven years I have obtained invaluable international experience which helps me to connect with clients all around the world. I enjoy working with complex matters which require attention to detail and I always aim to deliver the best results tailored to the needs of a specific client.
